GAIA's existing website holds a lot of information, but key actions like donating, volunteering or viewing events don't stand out. The challenge was to create a more modern and clearer design that guides visitors to those actions faster, and then turn that design into a working website ourselves.

We started by analysing the current site and deciding which content mattered most. We then created a new design with clear calls to action, a yearly overview of results and striking figures showing GAIA's impact. We built it with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, using Vite as the build tool, and added interaction such as animated counters and a login modal.

A fully working website with a homepage, events overview, about page, contact page and donation page, hosted live on Netlify. The result is a fresher look that puts GAIA's mission and impact first and lets visitors help in fewer clicks.
